Just a cog in the machine
Keeping time in motion
Like a dream
Like an ocean breeze
Comes crashing on me
And Im riding the wave of some scene
Like a butterfly from nowhere
Or a light on a screen
Has an angel descended
from the clouds that rain over me
We repaint the picture as we start it over
mistakes and regrets are thrown over the shoulder
The pages burn to ashes as we turn them over
Do we live for the unknown or do we live for now?
From the fog in-between
In the haze of the sunlight
as it bleeds through the tear at the seam
We don't have to agree
To be cruel, to be kind
To be free
From the clincking of glasses
Or a spark in the eye
Theres a glimmer of memory
As time goes rushing by
We repaint the picture as we start it over
mistakes and regrets are thrown over the shoulder
The pages burn to ashes as we turn them over
Do we live for the unknown or do we live for now?

Bring It Back To Me

The sound of the rain, when will it end?
It's been so long since Ive seen you my friend
It would take two hands to count down the years
since I had someone to share all my fears
You've been living fast, too old to die young
What I would give to share a setting sun
Theres a light on the bridge incase you get lost
I hope it brings you whatever the cost
In the heat of the embers that burn through the night
We'll sit around drinking until the morning breaks light
In the howl of the wind and the sound of your voice
It makes me remember we've all got a choice
Ive lost all my spark and you hold the key
Ive been waiting on you to bring it back to me
I remember the ways our stone was set
The cold December days warmed by cigarettes
No agenda, no place to lay your head
Its ordinary days that put me to the test
Theres a river so deep running straight through my head
Too dangerous for swimming, you'll sink down like lead
Theres no way around it but we've built a bridge
We've laid our foundation, we've sewn every stitch
In the howl of the wind, and the sound of your voice
It makes me remember we've all got a choice
Ive lost all my spark and you hold the key
Ive been waiting on you to brig it back to me
I remember the ways our stone was set
The cold December days warmed by cigarettes
No agenda, no place to lay your head
Its ordinary days that put me to the test

For Too Long

I'd like to think that I would be there
When you needed me the most
I'd like to think that I'd be fair
But would you? Well I don't know
Theres moe to me than meets the eye
But it seems like you've made up your mind
I think its time I walk the line
You don't need me and I don't need your kind
Ive been apologising for too long
Ive been trying to change my ways and right my wrongs
Am I the man I think I am?
Should I hold the ground where I stand?
Is it hard to hear the truth?
Is it shame or is it fear you choose?
Theres no answer wrong or right
Yet Ive been asking myself day and night
You see its in the stars Ive seen the light
I think its time that I give up this fight
Ive been apologising for too long
Ive been trying to change my ways and right my wrongs
Ive been hiding in the spaces in-between my thoughts
Ive been blinded, now I'm paying the price of what that cost

Will You Love Me Too?
04:38

Your in my head, you're in my home
You're in my bed, you're in my soul
I feel your heart, I feel your warm
I feel every breath right to the bone
I won't wait any longer
I won't be alone
I feel us getting stronger
The best is yet to come
I'll keep my mind, I'll keep my band
Just take my love, just take my hand
Do you feel the same? Will you see it through?
Will you say with me? Will you love me too?
I won't wait any longer
I won't be alone
I feel us getting stronger
The best is yet to come
